The natural hair movement has had resurgence in recent years and has grown in leaps and bounds with countless women of African descent embracing their natural hair.
Nowadays, we see many women rock their afros loud and proud or sometimes as dreadlocks or as a wee-fro. But it hasn’t always been like this, especially for women in Western countries.
Back in the day, the kinky African hair was frowned upon and women slathered their hair with lye-relaxers to get that straight look or ‘good hair’ that Caucasians possessed.But now we are seeing women all over the world loving and embracing their natural kinks and our celebrities are no different.
