Muthama questions Mutua on his projects

Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua and Senator Johnston Muthama have not had a good relationship even before the 2013 general elections as Muthama then supported Wavinya Ndeti who lost to Mutua.
That has been the trend and the duo has criticised each other and not shared a podium before. The funeral of Geoffrey Mbithi in Kwa Kavoo village, Kimutwa brought them together yesterday.
Also present was Dr Susan Musyoka and Deputy governor Bernard Kiala among other leaders. There was first a protocol issue of who between the senator and the governor should speak first, eventually Senator Muthama spoke last and this left people wondering the who was more senior.
Muthama questioned Mutua on the increasing level of insecurity in the county where six-night guards were killed in Mitaboni a few weeks ago yet he has bought police cars and installed CCTVS accross the county
Other leaders present also questioned Mutua on the projects. Mutua described Kimeu as a God fearing and a humble man who loved his people.
Kimeu succumbed to kidney problem on August 20.
