Machakos residents reject changes in county ward Fund

Residents of Mavoko subcounty have rejected the Machakos County Ward Development Fund (Amendment) Bill as proposed by the assembly.
The locals, during a subcounty public participation forum in Athi River town on Tuesday, condemned the attempts to amend the Ward Development Fund Act of 2014 . They said it served executive’s interests.
