Life is generally 50-50. You can get engaged and enjoy a life of romance or you can engaged and never make it to the aisle. That is just how life goes.
Sometimes, it can be very mortifying if you have to pick up the pieces of your relationship with your detractors gleefully watching. And unfortunately, some of the people on this list had to do that.
Without further ado, here is a list of celebrities who got engaged but didn’t make it to the aisle

We all ooh-d and aah-d as Sally Mbilu flaunted her brilliant blue Tanzanite engagement ring which Willis Raburu had coughed up about 100, 000 Kshs for.
Jealousy was certainly rife when Willis whisked her away to a stunning holiday in Dubai and images of the loved-up couple were plastered all over social media. But somewhere between 2015 an 2016, all was silent on the Willis-Sally front.
No envy-inducing photos and certainly no lovey-dovey messages. It was said that the two had split and detested the presence of each other, a rumor the two declined to address.
2. Debbie Sanaipei Ntimama and Michael Okwiri

The former Miss Tourism Kenya and daughter to veteran Politician William Ole Ntimama was engaged to Vice President - Corporate Communications & CSR | Airtel Africa, Michael Okwiri.

According to The Star, the two came to an agreement and called off the expensive wedding.
“The couple came to the decision after lengthy discussions and decided to call off the wedding. Sanaipei’s increasing professional and business obligations outside the country and Mike’s continued commitments in the country led to the couples decision to call off the wedding but they continue to be close friends.”A source told the newspaper.

Unfortunately, the two broke up shortly amid sleazy claims after a very public relationship which we were all privy to thanks to Adelle’s countless social media posts. Chris got married in a big wedding ceremony about a year after the break-up and Adelle started seeing a new man whose identity is still a mystery till now.

The two were said to have met after Leslie was referred to her when he wanted to do a bit of venture capitalism in the entertainment industry. They had a back and forth for close to a month, got to know each other and that is when Leslie decided to venture into Avril’s life. Lucky for him Avril was impressed by his intelligence and they started dating.
They got engaged soon after which was a slap in the face for Team Mafisi members who had pinned after the sexy singer for ages. The wedding took a while and the delay was blamed on cultural issues since Avril is Kikuyu and Leslie was Zulu.
But during a recent interview with Mpasho, Avril revealed that they had decided to cool off on the relationship and pursue their own things.
